Rail Noise Absorbers
CNR addresses noise reduction of rails using several elements: rail noise absorbers, base profile, anti-vibration mats and automatic lubrication device. These elements can be individually customized and produced for different rail profiles. Rail absorbers of various profiles can be made at the length of 0.75 – 1.5 m, the base profile at the length of 15 -18 m and the anti-vibration mats at the dimensions of 2000 x 1000 mm with the thickness of 12- 30 mm. All the components are produced under the supervision of technicians and regularly undergo strict mechanical and dynamic tests.

Rail noise absorbers reduces rail vibrations and thus also reduce noise levels. The principle of the absorbers is that by applying them, a mass is added to the rail rack, which dampens the vibrations of the rail rack along its length. This reduces the noise emitted to the track surroundings.
